"The Roles She Play Everyday"

People see Ms. Boots Anson Roa as a figure to look up to.
I see her as a walking pool of good example and everlasting inspiration.
Throughout the many years that this great lady walked in the carpeted floors of show business, she had played hundred of roles.
From the naive, sweet, kind, gentle, loving, martyr, pathetic, desperate, paranoid, mean, scheming and evil.
she did them all very effectively, i should say.
But....
after a moment of thinking, an idea sprouted from my mind.
a spur of the moment, a split-second thinking.
I asked myself, what could be the different roles that she juggle behind camera.
So, thank you to my wild and untamed imagination, I have created a list.
If these items are either right or wrong only one single person could prove that.
It is the lady herself.
Now, I take you to my list.

I believed, it is one of the things that I admire about Ms. Boots.
the constant admittance that, as a person with higher knowledge and experience in life, she still learns important lessons from those younger than she actually is.
"It is very humbling to feel the solid earth under your feet, to stay grounded and humble."
that is how, I see her.

The Traveling Elegant Soul.

From Asia, Europe, and the great America,
she had visited them all.
Like the way she lived and is living her life, every journey and voyage is never just a luxury for the eye but also a haven for the mind and soul.
For her, it is the chance to recollect thoughts and learn new lessons from.
Lessons that she collects like souvenirs and then is shared to others as "pasalubong".

Before she became the teacher and the learner, and before she became the traveler she was first and foremost,
Her father's daughter.
Before becoming someone Else's queen. she was her father's princess.

The sister I'm sure everyone would want.

The Loving Wife
the woman every man would want to bring home to his parents.
the woman no man would hesitate to ask her hand in marriage.

The Cool and Caring Mom
I don't know the Roa Brood personally but the way I see them, read articles about them and hear things concerning them, I could make out a clear picture of how they were raised by their mom.
They are more like friends than parent-children set-up without compromising the respect.

The doting lola
I came across an article where Ms. Boots was asked to write down a list of people very influencial to her life.
She wrote "all" her grandchildren's names.
She said that it is not that old people always impart lesson to young ones, but somehow, sometimes, it happens the other way around.

The Good Friend

And of course, the role that we came to know her of.
The Actress.
Finesse, Elegant, Graceful, Professional
That is Ms. Boots Anson Roa to a T.
